Overview
itrachealth - Caregiver application, is a quick and easy way for Caregivers to manage the medications, daily activities, appointments, reports, and stay informed with an aging parent and other family member that needs help.
The aim is to empower the caregiver to be more efficient and have an accurate record of the daily activities from the elderly, or disabled person they are taking care.
Goal
Reduce cognitive load, support seamless interaction, and empower caregivers with clear, real-time insights into the well-being of the elderly or disabled individuals they support. The app will integrate with the itrachealth personal attendant machine to provide a cohesive and supportive digital caregiving experience.
Problem
Most of the aging parents or family members are living on their own and consuming more than eight medication pills a day. Most of them forget to they their daily medications or vital signs. The caregiver app is a great tool to safely and securely manage the aging persons’ health information.
By analyzing the qualitative and quantitative data we had gathered, we identified opportunities and pinpointed the core challenges caregivers face. This synthesis became the foundation that would guide our entire solution and ideation process.
